Crystal Fusion - Anyone ever not-reapplied?

So long story short had an accident, got more money for my old car than expected, so i bought a few stealership items to see if they're worth it. One was crystal fusion, the overpriced rain-x crap they don't tell you that you need to re-apply but turns out you do. So i'm wondering if anyone's ever bought this and then not re-applied and if so what was the fallout?
I finally got the mail packet and I'm kind of ready to just rain-x it instead but i'm wondering what the true wear off period of the old crap is. 3 months, 6 months, is it really permanently bonded like they claim? Any help is appreciated.

Never heard of it, I use Aqua-Pel. last 6 months before you have to reapply it. Easy to put on and buff off with a micofiber towel. You can buy it on Amazon, not that expensive either.

I just griots glass sealant, i've used aqupel, its ok, i like griots more.
