1-2 grind happened twice to me. Tech looked at all the synchros and gears and everything looked good. I'm going to be using amsoil so hopefully I'll notice a difference.
yea that was my idea if you had the grinds that they should look at all syncros.. did they take some pictures from the syncros ?

I don't have pictures of the synchros up close. They replaced the case half that was leaking. Everything was assembled back together like it never happened. Got the SPEC stage 2+ clutch installed with amsoil mtf. Still breaking in the clutch and so far so good. Haven't done any pulls because of the clutch being new. So far no leaks and tranny shifts smooth.

I just left Herb Chambers in Seekonk...I'm friends with one of the techs....they were replacing a fender liner in my R...he was telling me about your tranny issue.

i have the same issue, it was leaking from the exact same spot, i noticed it while the car was on race ramps, took it to the dealer, the fluid was engine oil and not tranny ( own observation), the cleaned it, drive it, sat for half day, drove it more, sat for half a day. No leak, they said it could have been a dirty tech, or very very slow leak that they cannot tell where it was coming from. I also had a recall on a the main ecu harness, it was replaced along with the pass front window motor, all in all in was at honda for 5 days. All covered under warranty.

Just found your thread. Reading through it, it looks like I might have the same problem.

After looking at your pictures and reviewing mine, it looks like it's leaking from the inspection plate gap area. 2018 March car with only 2800 miles

Nope, everything is stock
dang. Well, I ask because when I first lowered mine, I had pull down on the assembly too much and pulled the axle out on the driver side...I was frustrated and I think caused an issue with a seal..later found transmission fluid running all along the under part of my car.

Luckily they replaced the seal for free under warranty...even while being lowered.

Just take it in man, sucks I know.

Yea, I know. I'm gonna crawl down there again this weekend and see if it reappears.

yeah, when I looked at mine, I could see plain as day where the source of it was...coming right from that driver side axle where it meets the transmission.

I'm not sure if I was my first brutal spring install I did that caused it, or a huge bump I hit.
