Looks good from here. I'll be getting some Ralley Red touchup paint from my local dealership next time I'm in town and see if I can duplicate your work.

I guess we're rolling the dice every time we drive, or in my case, every time my wife comes home.
Thank you I was super gentle the entire time with paint pen and watched some YouTube videos before hand.

I think you’ll be able to touch it up and save yourself some money for the time being.

Your wife will be more careful when she finds out how much any of those repairs cost

Found this the day after I brought it home. Told the dealership it wasn't me, they tried to buff it out but didn't get it to flawless. No way for me to prove I didn't cause the damage so I couldn't push it any further.
Yikes, sorry man. The angle of those scratch lines is interesting.

I only went to a couple places that day and McDonald’s drive thru where I thought I could have done it myself by accident but it would have been impossible when I drove through to check the next day.

Got quoted $800 CAD for repaint with new Xpel. But luckily a paint pen did the job and I was able to get the Red colour out with microfibre .

Please tell me more about this magical paint pen. I got door dinged by a coworker. She chipped the paint and created a small dent. I was sad for months. At least I can paint over the chip if I knew what this paint pen you are talking about is.

Most likely Honda's touch up pen.

Ahhh man. Efffff that. Hate to see it.
I was sick to my stomach and raging all at once.

It was the start of a bad month, the second month owning my si. A week later a rock on the highway put a 4 inch star in my windshield. The next week a truck ran me into the curb on a bridge rashing up my front rim and bubbling both my right side tires...

All fixed now and nothing since thankfully :D

Ha! The crazier part is that I was home when she came in and I heard the crunch. When I went to the garage she pretended nothing had happened and that she had just damaged our kid's tesla. Then our 5 year old yells out "Mommy hit your car daddy!!"

Tough getting paint damage like this at 2500 miles. Pretty clear its pointless for me to ever buy something "exotic" unless I can also buy a 2nd home to park it. Luckily its just a Honda and I can make it like new again.
True, I was totally kidding people act like these things are gold. I just like to mess with people.

Yeah, it can get a bit weird with folks (maybe us) that treat cars like their our pet or child... and we worry about them and enjoy caring for them and then they get hurt. If my wife heard me she'd say I'm crazy but I've always loved my cars... from my 1969 Chevelle to my 1996 Altima to my Volvo and now my CTR. Regardless of car I always had a relationship with it. Its a foreign idea to most. OK, no more beer for me...

It sucks, but it's just a car. My first nice car was a '97 BMW M3 sedan, which I bought used in 1999. It was in perfect cosmetic condition. Three weeks after I got it, I got hit on the front driver's side trying to merge when the car that hit me unexpectedly switched lanes. Tore off the front bumper and ended up doing $15,000 damage, which took about a month to fix. Repairs were virtually undetectable when it was finished. Sucked but I got over it. Shit happens.
