Got this last weekend, from my wife. 2018 CTR with almost 2500 miles. Our cars barely fit side-by-side in our garage and our little guy had parked his tesla powerwheels type car next to me in the middle of the garage. Wife comes into the garage thinking theres room and then squishes the tesla between our cars. Her infiniti turned out fine.

I have two door dings on my Si. First one happened less than a month of ownership. No one can see it unless I point it out. But I know that it is there and it drives me crazy lol.

I also have light clear coat scratches on my hood due to a flying loose plastic fender that hit me on the highway. Luckily it didn’t leave a ding.

I want to fix them all but they aren’t noticeable and I’m budgeting for a few mods instead.

Time for a divorce.
Ha! The crazier part is that I was home when she came in and I heard the crunch. When I went to the garage she pretended nothing had happened and that she had just damaged our kid's tesla. Then our 5 year old yells out "Mommy hit your car daddy!!"

Tough getting paint damage like this at 2500 miles. Pretty clear its pointless for me to ever buy something "exotic" unless I can also buy a 2nd home to park it. Luckily its just a Honda and I can make it like new again.

I have a chip on the hood right near the outside crease that I used touch-up paint on.... terribly. I'm nervous to sand/polish it because I've never done it. Tempted to have someone do it for me later.

I also have a small repair to the rear driver's side bumper right next to the tow hook cover where I crunched it against a house subframe that was sticking out, and wasn't visible when backing into a parking space at a friends. I've never hit a stationary object while parking a vehicle so it really pissed me off. Teaches me for not checking the space before backing in.

I also have a mysterious scrape to the faux-carbon runner on the driver's side, that was made either by something large-ish that was kicked up by my front wheel... or more likely my neighbors being idiots and scratching it. They also pulled a trashcan out on my side of the garage, lightly scratching the clear coat which I fixed with polish easily.

Overall, nothing really major, just standard stuff that's going to happen no matter how much the car is babied.

Fortunately for my R, the only "scrape" is on the bottom of my steering wheel from my work badge reel (twice) from getting into the car. But I'm OCD, and always feel it. It's bothering me enough to seriously consider upgrading to a new CF wheel :p

2500k is 2500000 miles. car looks pretty good for having gone around the earth 100 times.

Sorry to hear...

I also have 2500 miles and there are a lot of pock marks in the A pillars for some reason. If this is due to the way the aerodynamics work i would recommend getting film installed on those. Also i got a big rock that somehow punched through the clear bra @_@ near the bottom of the bumper.

Whoa, sry to see that. Where was it parked? Any idea what did it?
I only went to a couple places that day and McDonald’s drive thru where I thought I could have done it myself by accident but it would have been impossible when I drove through to check the next day.

Got quoted $800 CAD for repaint with new Xpel. But luckily a paint pen did the job and I was able to get the Red colour out with microfibre .

I have just a bunch of rock chips here and there, nothing too nasty. My wheels are rashed up though (my own doing unfortunately :( ). About a month in, though, some idiot back right into my front passenger-side door. Left a dent and scratch that needed to get popped and resprayed.

Looks good from here. I'll be getting some Ralley Red touchup paint from my local dealership next time I'm in town and see if I can duplicate your work.

I guess we're rolling the dice every time we drive, or in my case, every time my wife comes home.

Found this the day after I brought it home. Told the dealership it wasn't me, they tried to buff it out but didn't get it to flawless. No way for me to prove I didn't cause the damage so I couldn't push it any further.
