Yes...the panel gaps on this car aren't great. My front bumper gap would make a used car buyer question whether it's been in an accident. Doesn't affect how it drives though and anyone who isn't looking closely will not notice.

The front passenger side of mine is even worse than that. The panel gaps on our cars seem to be very inconsistent also.

This is one thing that makes me wonder about how these cars will hold up in the future. Is this plant known for iffy quality compared to other Honda plants or what?

My front bumper has some gaps too. I just pulled my front bumper off to do some work and noticed this spot where the clip clips onto is broken on both sides of the bumper. Wondering if there is any type of fix?....

Yep. My brother's girlfriend has a 2018 Hatchback and the panel gaps are horrendous. Worse than even domestics and I've owned vehicles made from Ford's Flat Rock plant which is known for shoddy build quality. I have seen an Si coupe (built in Canada) up close up and it seemed to be pretty normal in regards to panel fitment so it's possible that Swindon (has a reputation for labour unrest) simply isn't very good at building cars.

Where did you get the labour unrest from?
We make rolls Royces, astons over here so the uk work force is capable of great work. They pass product quality with the gaps though so that's a bit alarming....or they get bigger with driving. I had the rear bumper off to replace the rear diffuser trim and they don't go back on great....Honda pro Jason s car must be creaking like a pirate ship

A comparison of my Type R and M2 front bumper gap, I don't think its that bad
Both cars have Suntek PPF installed on the whole frontend..
I think my worst experience was with my previous 2016 Audi RS3, the bumper gap is pretty much none but because of this the front bumper corners was rubbing against the guards causing the weak paint to chip off on the bumper corners I wasn't the only one as a few people with RS3 I know had the same issue..
