I had wind noise from the side window, right next to my ear it seemed. I powered the window down and found the fault was a deformed rubber surround, just at the top corner of the window frame. This is the rubber that the glass slips between as it closes. The indentation let the wind noise in.
The dealer is ordering the part. In the meantime I stopped the noise by cutting a thin slice of felt and putting it behind the deformed rubber to push it out a bit to make the surface even.

My dealer fixed the wind noise by raising my door hinges a tiny bit. Much better but still a small amount of noise after 70 mph.

I think I have this issue. Was it preceded by an intermittent noise from the window? Like a sticking-unsticking sound on impacts and other chassis stresses? I have that and an inordinate wind leak near my ear.

I just had the wind noise next to my ear, not the sticking and unsticking sound.
