So reading this many say Collinite is the best? The Griots below goes for $41.99 to expensive? I have used the Speed Shine below after a wash. Great and easy between washes. I was thinking of something like below for twice a year. Then use the speed shine in-between washes.

I also have the whole hood clear bra. I have something to spray on that part. What do folks use on Clear Bra?
Thanks

Been looking at paint sealers as well and orbital polishing but at present just been using hand application. No paint defects yet to correct. Of course much of what is available today was not available in the 70's. Just want to keep the car like new and protected. Garage time is more therapy to me. And the car always looks better waxed. So besides a good wash what is your routine? Wax twice or more often a year? Any special tools? Watch too many YouTube videos will make your head spin with all of the resources available.

So I guess it comes down to paint sealant verses wax. Some use paint sealant and than wax. How long does wax last months (1-6 months?) Paint sealant a year. Put on paint sealant and than wax? Is it absolutely necessary to have an orbital polisher? 3 inch verses 6 inch? I have the whole front Clear Bra. So most of the car is curves and such. The biggest piece the hood is covered. The roof has a moonroof. Do folks even use Simoniz wax anymore or am I dating myself? If you are pro orbital could one do the whole car with a 3 inch orbital?

Carnuba waxes provide great shine/depth but don't provide as long a lasting protection as modern synthetics, paint sealants, etc.

How frequently should you wax? That depends on multiple factors (weather conditions, what products you are using, how you wash your car, etc)
Rough guesstimate, a few times a year.

Seal then wax. I wouldn't call it 100% necessary to wax afterwards, but it can provide extra shine/depth to the paint.

Random orbital- I'd highly recommend having one. It will allow you to apply product (wax, etc) in a much quicker fashion. It is also nice to have if you want to do any paint correction.

I read about how everyone likes the collinite wax but their mostly in colder climates has anyone used it in a hotter and humid climate like Florida and last long I use turtle wax ice it lasted long in New York but it doesn’t last long in Florida. I bought my civic in Florida 2018 the love bugs haven’t affected the paint yet so would the collinite protect from the lovebugs
