yeah but that mustang comes with a warranty out of the box, ready to drive off the lot versus modifying a CTR and probably diminishing it's reliability to achieve performance that would beat the Mustang in a straight line and a track. Modifying a car is and always has been cheaper than buying a car that offers the same or performance out of the box, but it doesn't mean they aren't worth it.
Eh.. I'm sure Ford warranty is not much different then hondas. Here is a high end perfornce car but if you go over 30 or off a regular public road or in anyway use that performance kiss the warranty good by.

That’s not the warranty he was talking about. I think he was referring to guarantee.lol what he means is that it’s going to have all that performance stock rather than to buy it. If they pumped 18k into their car they would blow you away along with their engine too lol. Furthermore I think you’ve been far overruled by the community here in saying that the type r is NOT a muscle car. You are free to think or classify your car as you see fit. Hell call it a lamboughini. It doesn’t matter. accept that it’s not a muscle car and move on. Continuing to argue schematics is absolutely pointless when you’re on an overwhelming disadvantage.

Why would you want it to be called a muscle car? It isn't, regardless it's just a fast car so who cares?

So I am curious. if your Cameros are so much better and faster then why get the R?
I didn’t say anything about better. I have one because I like all cars. Sorry I pointed out your inaccuracies.

“Camaro”

Yeah exactly. With the Mustang your getting that performance right out the box in a reliable package from an engine that is nowhere near it's limits versus throwing $18K at a turbo 4 cylinder car which would make it lose its warranty, along with its reliability and probably overall functionality. It makes sense in a video game maybe but not in the real world.

Honestly you don't want to associate with people that give the stink eye anyways.

Real car guys that you want to have conversations with are those that can appreciate any car for what it is.

When I get a Type-R it'll be alongside my Z06. I'll enjoy both cars and equally like both cars for different reasons. People at caffeine and octane that give me the stink eye can stay over where they are and I'll appreciate the people that come up and ask me questions or give compliments.

The Merriam-Webster dictionary defines muscle cars as "any of a group of American-made 2-door mid size cars with powerful engines designed for high-performance driving."

To add, these cars are usually defined as being from a period of time in the mid to late 60’s, with V8 engines and made by American car manufacturers, primarily Plymouth, Dodge, Ford, Chevy and Pontiac.

Not muscle car . They can't do corners.
But they can corner now!

I always disliked muscle cars in the past. Growing up I was a European car fan, slowly transitioned to Japanese cars (which I find more interesting these days) - I was annoyed when I realized I could no longer hate on Mustangs for their crappy handling.

Halo car sounds better than muscle car and I have a muscle car. It's two different genres and time periods of cars though..I like most cars though exotics, jdm, muscle, ive even come to like mustangs and I always grew up hating mustangs idk why? maybe the owners I've met? I'd say dodge owners are the new " mustang"guys lol

I really think people miss the point of my post seriously. Its the over all attitude of the Muscle car owner that ticks me off. here let me put it another way. Same town there is a car club for british cars, you know good old mother England cars. I went to it since my R was made in england. They thought it was a hoot. everyone talked and had a great time. They enjoyed the cars. it was about the cars. it was fun. Not at these merica car meets. It aint merican it aint shit attitudes.
Anyone who owns a British car has to have a good demeanor they break all the time..its just people being elitist some type-r owners look down at si owners.some si owners look down on turbo ownersand Everyone looks down on the 2.0 lol who cares.. fck em..fck people's validation..enjoy your Honda :drive:

Type R is not a muscle car. I think one point that may be missing is that most people who own Mustangs and Camaros think an R is a fast and furious car. So your looked down upon or they just have absolutely no interest in a Type R.
