New Mugen Interior Products Type R Concept

Everyone has been focused on the Mugen Type R exterior accessories. What about the interior mods?

I am particularly excited about the flat bottomed carbon steering wheel and new gear knob design. What do you all think?

FYI the steering wheel from the Asia markets may not work for the North American market. I had a custom made carbon fiber steering wheel made in Malaysia and it did not fit my Civic (I'm from Canada) as we found out that the airbags are different and I couldn't install the wheel onto my vehicle.

That is correct. I am sure Mugen will produce an Asian/EU version as well as North American/Canadian versions with differing part numbers

Hopefully that means good news for us Australians, ours are Thai built models

Would definitely like to hold the wheel before ordering. The perforation looks kinda funny and I wish it had red stitching. That would really POP for those of us with red stitching already. I love the form of it.

I seen better looking aftermarket steering wheels. I dont have a link but there is a carbon fiber wheel that has been out for awhile now it's just pricy

If the final version has grey stitching this would be ideal for my Sport Hatch 1.5T

I was just about to get my newly purchased CTR steering wheel sent of for a black/grey retire but might hold off a while....

Loving that thickness on the steering wheel!

There's a bunch of threads around talking about this wheel. I actually just ordered mine. I'll post pics once I install it. Buddyclub makes it with their branding in white at the bottom for $350. I ended up getting the Handkraftd brand which is the same without the branding. Wanted a cleaner look.
