Reminder: Modified Exhausts Now a $1K Fine in CA

Hey gang -

Quick reminder that modified exhausts above 95db are now a non-correctable, $1K fine throughout California. For those familiar with current events, yes - this is in direct response to the recent street takeovers in So Cal. You can read more about it here:

Weather is nice. Awesome restaurants. I probably wouldn't be able to get employed any other state with my salary. I enjoy the city more than the outdoors. Tons of negatives but tons of positives too.

PS I just ordered an Invidia q300 for my hb sport. Pretty bummed about the law but don't think the exhaust is above 95db. We'll see.

Northeast probably pays around the same..but it's cold

Okay so what exhaust system out there that looks stock & sounds quite below the 95db? Only one I can think of is the Greddy SP. Any other good ones out there?

HKS Legamax for the hatch. They list it at 91db.

Just installed a MAPerformance exhaust two weeks ago, no trouble at all, as long as you do not drive like a jerk and keep the revs low when the cops are around

What if I’m visiting from out of state? I’m running straight pipe from the turbo back...gonna need to bring in my car to a company so they can make a custom part for me.
