I could take or leave the leather, but I want sensing, leds, premium audio, the wheels and the chrome door handles, so touring it is.
EXACTLY! It's the other options I want who cares about leather

The Touring packs on a ton of features and technology over the most basic LX manual model. We're always saying how technology and features adds weight so I'm curious how much weight difference between the most basic and fanciest model?

Almost 200 pounds added. Not insignificant on a sub 3000 pound car. Bet you can feel the difference between how the cars drive if you had a sensitive butt dyno.
Although you could never really compare them as they have different engines, I have no doubt the Touring will still be better despite the weight.

I don't mind the projectors at all. Still better than my non-projector lights my 2014 coupe has. haha. Hopefully we'll be able to get some people trying out some different bulbs to see which brands match the LED accent light color the best... The LEDs on the civic appear pretty true white (as opposed to more blue like on some cars) so maybe some super white halogens or even doing a simple xenon bulb kit which is pretty easy and cost effective to do.
I don't want to come off as rude or cynical on this forum, but there's too many threads with people wanting stuff on the higher trims in the lower model. Too many wants, and scarce resources. We all want Touring features for EX money. If that was the case, the Touring wouldn't exist. Here's the most ironic part:

The first person that manages to do an LED swap on their non Touring Civic properly, I will crown them as the smartest and stupidest person on this forum. Smart because they managed to do it, and stupid because they could've gotten a Touring for $1000 more with all its other features and done none of the work.
true to a point..but i did not want the turbo engine in my ex....i know the turbo is probably a better match for the cvt transmission...but i just don't like the heat build up turbo cars....sooooo i'm probably going to put a few items in my car, that are on the higher end models..diy of course!!
