do you have sensing, ie lane keep, collision mitigation etc? they flash on the dash while they are resetting. if you have nothing lit up on the dash, everything is fine
Nope, I don't have this :( Only the base Civic LX 2017! Is there another way to know if it resetted?

Alright, thanks! I'm currently looking into catbacks and intakes. Is there a catback that fits/performs better on the 2017+ civics like mine?Like a better "company"? And what about intakes? From what I see cai are kind of better-ish since the air filter is moved but the sri costs less? What do you think I'd be better off with and which "company" is better? I've read that the Cobra CAI is very good... Thank you very much!

Cobra is for the 1.5t only, I dont know much about teh 2.0 parts, you probably need the AEM from what Ive read. Exhausts are going to depend on the sound you like as well.

Hey. I've been looking left and right and I'm really hesitating whether I'd buy a cai or sri since I live in Canada and the coldest days can go as low as -40... I'd look into getting a bypass valve, but is the air going to be too cold for the engine during winter? I'm really biased on this right now :(

I'd go with a CAI over the SRI, not sure about the bypass valve

doing a max boost CVT dyno tune is probably the highest you can go however
ktuner will put your CVT near top potential and it will make you will wonder why did Honda back off sooo much, and do be careful it's a adrenaline changer and you will leave many sticks in the dust.

Go end user stage 2 cvt.
leave boost by gear alone, it's already set for stage 2 cvt.

final boost table, final target default is 22.5, try it, you will be pleasantly surprised. you can go higher here and you can set the final target to whatever you want. 22.5 with stock turbo seems to top out at 20. I set mine to 25 and WOT I've only seen 21, I need advice here on how or what I need to do to get it to 25 with settings and tables.

Disabling Boost Target Dampening - this switches off all lag, scary immediate boost. it conflicts with cruise control however, compensating for load on/ off.....I keep it off.

early spool - on of course

throttle response - highest

turbo response - highest

turbo spool- highest

Boost Target Ramp Rate - aggressive

leave ECO button alone if you want factory economy

dude honestly, i've raced so many cars that should of wiped me out and they lose. These cars are surprisingly fast with the right mods.

Absolutely, it's cool, keeps your heart pounding at every pull. I'm stickin with stock hardware. I guess you might have moded further then me. Had it at final boost 25 backed it off to 23.5.

Imagine (900 hp) F1 Honda CVT HD (as in heavy duty high torque design) similar technology trickle down to civic use.

My CVT sport touring runs great with ktuner + injen sri + magnaflow catback.
sri & exhaust are just for noise no real power gains. ktuner makes a night and day difference. plenty fast and sounds amazing in sport mode while paddle "shifting"
If getting a dp make sure you can get one that can reuse the heatshield.
Might be more useful getting the CVT cooler kit and an intercooler + oil catch can.
i'd let you take my car for a spin to make your decision easier but you hella far bruhh lol
Do you have an insta or Facebook I’d love to see how the civic performs. I recently got a 2018 sport touring and I’m ready to work on it but I’m new to this stuff.

I made awesome power with the CVT with a tuner and e85. Even on pump gas at 23-24psi. It's night and day compared to stock.

I was running around 24psi with 10-11ign. I would say around 280-300tq. I was pushing the CVT way pass the limit and it held up great at the time. As for how long who knows. Hondata or KTuner basemaps are save on the CVT

Prl is coming out with a turbo upgrade. That will help with the CVT .as it will make less tq but more hp at the top range
Update me on your car bro please lately ive been hearing cvts are breaking down the sacriest part is that they were stock AF im scared now

Thanks bro! I am just trying to find a way for myself and the rest of the cvt people
Hondata tunes allegedly predicate on not over torquing the CVT. I use Hondata, aftermarket intercooler, cat back exhaust, cold air intake, and just now adding the 27Won big turbo kit.
