Thanks. If it gives issues, I will see. Not planning to keep it beyond warranty - might get extended warranty if I want to keep it for 5 years. In any case, engine is covered for 5 years. 3 people in my team bought them last year - 20k miles, no issues for them. So I am sure things have been ironed out. Its definitely not as refined as Si but it has so much raw power, I think Type R would be the only car I would want to buy next. But most probably this is my last stick shift - not sure if my family will grow next year. I wanted to make it count and get WRX out of my system. I only wish Honda dealers in DFW had some integrity. Even Mazda dealers were better and was really close to buying Mazda3 HB which has fantastic discounts.Wish you the best of luck with that FA24 motor, they had A LOT of issues in their first few years. Hopefully they worked out the kinks. I owned a '13 FRS and the FA20 has it's fair share of problems as well.
I got my 18 Black from them at MSRP. OTD was 38xxx. But I had to pay it back by sitting for 5 hours through the finance lady, even when I told her I don't want to get any extended warranty... etc . :facepalm:Just got my 19’ sonic grey from there. I noticed the custom wrapped one but my color still looked cleaner.
the color for me was worth it since it’s a rare one. They did the same thing to me. Finished the deal till 4am. Probably hated the fact that they didn’t make as much as they wanted too on the deal. And I also remembered that my salesman told me about the 18’ black type r going for mrsp since they had like 5-8 sitting around and they needed to move units.I got my 18 Black from them at MSRP. I managed to get them to agree to Sonic Grey MSRP but decided against it since the black one looked better in person and paying extra grand for 19 model was not worth it.
Please add Honda of Toms River on the list. They were doing +5k ADM back in late October.
Had a rather unpleasant phone call with the sales rep.
When I made it clear that their ADM was just too high, the sales rep replied several times "I don't understand, this is the pricing for an enthusiast car". I just checked and looks like they still have at least 1 CW in stock.
Hamilton is doing a 1.1k ADM through a care package that they add on. Not as bad as some of the other dealers, but I'm not interested in anything over MSRP.
