https://www.google.com/amp/s/amp.usatoday.com/amp/1131578002 The Civic is still in the top five list of cars sold in America with a manual transmission. How long will it hold on? I learned to drive in a stick and will always prefer one. Whlie I appreciate all the advancements with the Automatic, It will never replace the feeling of being one with my car.:drive:

The real problem with American drivers is laziness. You can ask anyone in other countries if they have manual trans vehicles for sale and they will laugh at you and say that there are LOTS of manual trans vehicles still out there and selling outside America. We are a laughing stock in a lot of things and this is just one more.

Might not matter.....if the safety Nazis have their way we won't be driving cars in the future anyway because too many people die in crashes.
All automated/computerized.

I definitely perfer a manual mostly for reliability. I've owned too many auto trans vehicles where the transmission crapped out with barely over 100K miles. Also a manual is the best theft deterrent device known to man. I used to live in a bad area of the city where cars were stolen all of the time. I used to park my '98 Integra GS-R on the street with doors unlocked or the windows down and no one ever messed with it lol.
