Here’s a video I just took to show the shift speeds. Pay specific attention to 1-2 and 2-3. The gap between shifts is me being locked out of the gear for a good second or more.

I haven't driven mine that hard yet (still in the break-in period) but even half throttle getting up to just over 5k rpm, it locks out. The shop is gonna bleed the clutch tomorrow and then I'm just gonna try to get through the break-in miles before I properly test it. If after 500 miles it still shifts like shit, I'm gonna get the modified CMC from Emmanuel, and if that doesn't help I guess I'll have to cut my losses and get the Type R clutch. Really should have went with that option in the first place, but hindsight is 20/20 as they say.

Does he have a site that he is selling parts at? I just don’t know if changing parts is going to resolve anything when others have just swapped the same clutch flywheel with no other modifications and don’t have issues. I am going to try to get into another shop ASAP and have them bleed the line as well as play with the rod position

You guys have me a bit nervous that I won’t be able to shift properly once I get it broken in. Even tho I do feel pretty confident I won’t have any issues. Getting antsy to hit that throttle!

For sure. I’m heading up to Jacksonville Christmas morning, so I’ll be putting the final mileage on it as soon as I get to my parents house.

Alright, so after lots of trial and error adjusting the clutch rod and pedal position, we seem to have found a decent setting. Catch point is much higher now, very similar to stock. High rpm shifts still feel notchy, but no more lockout. It's about as good as it's gonna get.

Hey just a tip in case you didn’t know(sorry if you already did) but highway miles don’t really count towards break in for a clutch since your not doing any shifting. Anyways best of luck to you and your clutch hope it’s nice and smooth once you get to drive it harder

I had issues of going into gears post install where i felt like i had to muscle it in. I adjusted the rod where it raised the catch point and pedal height to where it was pretty much higher than the brake pedal. It helped a lot and shifting became smoother. After maybe 150-200 miles it felt stock and i was able to slowly lower the engagement and pedal after more miles were put in.
Im at around 850 mixed miles now with maybe 650 city . Shifting feels smooth but i havent gone wot yet, im waiting till i get closer to 1k. Ive gone to 5k at maybe around 50% throttle on map 3 of tsp stage 2 and shifted with no issues.

One thing i notice is some "chatter" while in neutral. Not sure if thats normal but driving feels normal and feels much better than the stock set up. Pedal also feels lighter but that might be from me getting use to the pedal.

Chatter is always normal with aftermarket clutches unless you go with something like type R retrofitted where there’s no chatter and barely heavier than oem SI clutch

I think for anyone installing this clutch, it is a good idea to max out the clutch rod leading to the master cylinder. Sure, you'll have to deal with a really high clutch pedal for a bit, but it's much better than potentially dealing with the consequences of keeping the catch point low, forcing the shifter into gear, and dragging the clutch disc. It seems that with this clutch setup, it's necessary to utilize as much usable space to disengage the clutch disc. So max out the rod, and through the break in period feel it out and keep on adjusting until all is good.
