Below redline mine shifts like butter too. It’s when you try to do near redline it locks you out for a good second or two !

Oh I don’t have it lol. I got the stage 3 Action Clutch with their Aluminum smf. But seeing you guys have issues and what not seems to me like all the clutch really needs especially if it’s installed correctly is a clutch rod adjustment since TSP themselves said it’s needed as they did it too.
Didn’t even know action clutch released anything for our car

It’s on the dl since they’ve been doing R&D kits for the past few months and it’s been going real good.

Delay valve still in place. Not interested in removing it. No adjustments were made. Going back to the shop tomorrow to see what they can do.
pedal adjustment is required. the pressure plate is not releasing fully cause of this. hence why you are lugging forward with the clutch in in first gear.

takes 5 min to adjust the pedal.

Hi everyone, sorry I've been MIA on this thread. Been really busy for me so I haven't had the chance to get on the forums lately. Seem like there's a lot being talked about.

I plan on going through everything and answering some questions along with putting my input about the clutch thus far since I've had it in the car for almost 2,000 miles.

My experiences may be slightly different since everyone seems to have the steel flywheel opposed to my setup which has the aluminum flywheel.

Thanks to everyone who has contributed and followed this thread! Nice to see a good chunk of people getting in on this. :)

So according to E-Man this time around... is if your new clutch disk has springs, you should be OK to remove the CDV.
If you get a rigid disk, keep it in.

Also according to a transmission engineer on here.... as long as you have rev-hang tuned out, you can remove the CDV regardless if you are sprung or rigid because RPMs will fall faster & less of a shock.

I plan on getting a Stage2 or Stage2+ with steel flywheel, always be tuned, and keep my CDV out.

Just tried adjusting the clutch pedal. Can't tell if it really did much. The issue definitely hasn't gone away completely. Tomorrow the shop is gonna bleed the clutch and try to adjust the shifter cables to see if that helps.

Shifts still feel very notchy. And the car still lugs forward slightly when going into first gear with clutch fully pressed down. So, doesn't feel great. It's fine when just cruising along, but that's about it. I gotta say I'm pretty disappointed so far.

Here’s a video I just took to show the shift speeds. Pay specific attention to 1-2 and 2-3. The gap between shifts is me being locked out of the gear for a good second or more.

Is this with or without full throttle shifting?
