Well. I got my Stage 2 w/ steel flywheel installed. Everything felt smooth at first. But the catch point was right off the floor, and the shifter felt notchier. I thought it felt good and actually preferred the low catch point. I drove it around just cruising and everything seemed fine. Until I accelerated and tried to upshift at high rpm. It completely blocks you from shifting. I tried it again just to confirm. Every single time, in any gear, it just straight up locks out the next gear. You have to wait a full second or two before the gear becomes "unlocked." It's absolutely ridiculous, and not something I can live with at all.

I then tried this experiment. I had the car on flat ground, not moving, no brakes engaged. With the clutch pressed all the way down, I shifted into first gear. And I noticed the car roll forward just very slightly. I tried it again, this time "half shifting" into first. I've found that if I kinda hold it at the "gate" before fully moving the shifter into gear, it makes it roll forward a tiny bit more. This is all with the clutch fully pressed down. I'm pretty sure this shouldn't be happening.

That’s exactly what I’m experiencing

To clarify its not "hard", it just requires a bit more effort then in the beginning. Do you think that changing the transmission fluid to something like amsoil syncromesh can help ?
Why not follow the step(s) recommended by SPEC instead? :dunno:

I would expect them to be your greatest ally in resolving this issue, they want satisfied customers.

I'm curious, is your delay valve still in place as well? Also, to what extent have you adjusted the pedal, if at all?

My grab point was super low as well. As soon as I barely let off the clutch, it would grab and wanna go. I have 300 miles on it and it’s getting broken in nicely. Not sure why others are having any isssues, I couldn’t be happier.

I have to ask. How do you drive? If I just cruised around driving normally, I would have never known there was an issue. Have you tried revving out the engine and quickly shifting close to redline?

Delay valve still in place. Not interested in removing it. No adjustments were made. Going back to the shop tomorrow to see what they can do.

You speak as if I did the install myself. I had it done at a local shop. My delay valve is still in place. I was considering having it removed as well as changing the transmission fluid to see if it helps at all

If it’s breaking in then revving out the engine or quickly shifting close to redline is a big no no

Well honestly, I’m still in the break in process so I haven’t gone WOT. Highest I’ve gone was to 4k and it shifts like butter. I’m making a long trip on Tuesday, so I’ll get on it then and report back. I just don’t see it having any issues. But who knows I guess.

Was going to ask this myself. How many miles did you put on it before going WOT?
Oh I don’t have it lol. I got the stage 3 Action Clutch with their Aluminum smf. But seeing you guys have issues and what not seems to me like all the clutch really needs especially if it’s installed correctly is a clutch rod adjustment since TSP themselves said it’s needed as they did it too.
