Removed the door panels on all four doors and replaced the stock liner with Soundskins Pro sound deadening. Next step will be replacing the stock speakers in the front doors. Thanks to @ctrmofo for the recommendation and answering my many questions regarding Soundskins Pro and speakers.

Can you tell a difference?
I took a quick spin around the neighborhood and couldnā€™t really tell with road noise. Iā€™m suspecting Iā€™ll tell a difference once I get into main roads and the highway.

In terms of sound performance, I could definitely tell a difference. Itā€™s hard to explain, but it really felt like you were in an enclosed sound studio. One big difference was the bass. It sounded much more solid. My speakers and amp are still stock. As of now I only plan of replacing the speakers in the front door, which will be in a couple of weeks, and eventually the center speaker on the dashboard.

difference is significant. after doing all 4 doors and entire trunk of mine with soundskins, i noticed about 30-40% reduction in road noise for sure AND doors shut with a good solid thud, not like typical honda/japanese car lightness...more like a euro/audi or bmw thud. so damn good!

Yes, solid ā€œthudā€ is now very evident.

I did not. But after discovering how easy it was I think I might in the near future!
i did my entire trunk for 2 reasons: 1) reduce road noise from the zero insulated trunk which has no hard cover, and 2) bass system response. do it, you'll love it ;-)
