Has anyone tried to to sell their stock wheels back to the dealer or made a deal to knock some money off the price of the car if you bring your own wheels/tires when you pick it up?

Doubt it. What are they going to do with them? Every car comes to them with new wheels. They can't sell them as new parts because they've been driven on a car already.

Lets play a hypothetical game..

The Stealership lets say does buy wheels. And you take 4 brand new luxury wheels into the stealership , they will offer you 25$ each. But the street Value is 100-150$ EACH.....

Why would you even consider offering anything to a stealership?

Dont you like Money???

PM ill buy your 4 wheels off ya for 100$ for all 4(Consider me a Dealership) im probably doing you a huge favor too, cause their in your way right?

As said above, yes they might buy them back, no they won’t offer you good money for them.

“If” you happen to be looking at a model that the dealer’s thrown some accessory wheels on, and you choose not to take delivery with those wheels, once again, they may offer to take them off and lower your purchase price but not by much. And definitely not by the street value of those wheels. You’re better off getting the best deal you can, and selling things to private buyers after the fact.

Yes they will, but they will pretty much try to offer close to free for them. I've seen at my dealership, a used set of rims, tpms and winter tires that they sell when people trade in their vehicles as an extra set of rims. Which I find people to be idiotic to do.

I personally would never sell it to a dealership, sell it privately and you'll get more money.

This will be my first brand new car and also my first car that didn't have steel wheels so I didn't know. Thanks for the feedback.
