Am I missing something here or did you get taken for a ride from your nephew?

You only got $500 off MSRP and Honda has a 2.9% 60month loan offer no money down.
I don't believe so. I called the dealer that this was at and they would not go below $500 also. If anything I am screwing myself by jumping the gun on a 2019 coupe. Nothing in Trucar, not on the Costco sheet, nothing to comp to. If I waited until January, I know I could've got it lower but needed the car. Considered the 2.9 from Honda, but wanted 72 months due to some scheduling issues. Also stayed with my personal CU which offers .25% off for automatic payments.
Also, called State Farm today and the VIN is not in their system yet. Had to use a 2018 for comp price on insurance and will be prorated if lower.

This I got 22k OTD for my SI at 2.49% 60 months 398 that 72-month loan you will be paying lots of interest first couple of years and never have equity...

Only better would have been if I had waited a month and got in for 0.9% apr instead.

I don't have everything in front of me but basically got a 2018 EX down from 24,145 MSRP to 22,300 (approx) to match true car pricing. It has honda sensing. However, I drive a crap ton and added some features so that price went straight back up. I feel like I over-paid by like $1000 in the end when i look at the grand total, but i'll be over it eventually.

New member of the Civic family here.
State: TX
Trim: 2019 Civic Sport Sedan with the standard accessories: all weather mats, tint, wheel locks, paint film, body molding etc.
MSRP: TBD (including delivery charge)
OTD Price (including TTL: $22,069)+$118 in 6.99% interest. I didn't negotiate on the interest when I could have because I plan to pay it off immediately. Simple interest loan and no early pay off penalities. I should have tried to get the 1.9% and paid it off in 36 months instead..live and learn.
I was quoted $20,500 in writing after talking on the phone for the EX base model but went with sport trim from Honda of Mckinney, TX. I honestly don't know if I got the best price but my gut said it was fair. Another dealership told me $20,500 OTD was the lowest they would go for a 2018 EX so I used that as a target..

6MT or CVT? Also, since I'm in a different state, can you please share your price before TTL? Separately, you can always refinance your auto loan with a credit union at a lower rate without a fee. Lowest rates should be in the high 2% to low 3% area for shorter term (36-60 month) loans... Not sure if it's worth the trouble if you plan on paying off your loan soon, though.

Hi there, it was $20,400 for the sedan sport with cvt. Hope that helps. I'm probably just going to pay it off and call it a day. The difference for a month of interest is negligible.

I could have done about $125 better but the other dealership said it had to be one on their lot and only had the modern steel color.

Spoke with the internet agent at a dealership. They were willing to match the price of an internet quote I was offered of $22,888 including TTL from another dealership for a 2019 Civic Si Sedan. Is that a good price?

How much will should I expect to pay for tax, fees, and all the other fees? I've been researching tips on buying as this is my first car purchase. How much is the typical monthly payment for this car?

I've read somewhere that you shouldn't be paying more than $75 for the doc fee and to always walk out when they present you with the Four Square system worksheet in the finance office. Is that true? I've noticed some of you got accessories included in the price. How did you do it? And what other tips to negotiate a deal?

Bought a 19 EX in Sacramento CA on Sunday. Did pricing by text with 3 dealers.

Had a difficult time locating the white/beige color combo without crap add ons.

One dealer provided a nice quote, but then messaged that there was 907.00 in added junk...including etch! (Etch?! What did we travel back to 1980?)

Finally found a recent delivery (Japan build date 12/18) that no one had yet touched.

21550.00 plus CA tax, doc, license. Sale went smooth. Told internet guy I wanted NO F&I add ons. In and out in a tad over an hour.
