You can likely get some ssr gtx01s for about 1500... Legit wheels too. They come in 9.5 +40 which is the same offset I run.

Right that's like the dream wheel but trying to spend less if at all possible.

So yours is the hatch you sent me? That looks like it pokes a bit. Are you lowered? How?

This is nasty. Any pictures of how much poke? Can you get away with more tire if you came up a little if you wanted to go for better performance too?

That is the poke I'm looking for haha. My phone is messing up I apologized if I double post this. But I want to run more than a 235 tire though. Is it possible on 9.5s all I see is 235s on this thread and that 22 offset is running a 215 I think.

Not without a lot of rubbing and fender pulling. I can likely run a 245 with no issues but I don't have poke like your looking for. That +22 wouldnt fit with 235s without significant fender rolling / pulling / camber

It is totally possible, you just need enough camber and maybe a very light fender pull or roll. There isn't much to roll to begin with, the most annoying part about the front is the side marker light which can clip bigger tires on big dips and make it pop out. The rear could absolutely handle a 245-255. I was running the same wheels as the guy with the ESRs, still had space for 255s which is the plan for my next tires. I switched to RPF1s now though in 18x9.5 +38. You could also get wheels with a slightly higher offset like a 40-45 to allow bigger wheels.

Hey everyone, just got my wheels (vmr v701 18x9.5+45). Had them installed on stock tires for now. Asked about 245 40s or 255 35s and they told me they would not fit. The tech told me the tire be too wide would rub on the inside near the strut? Is this true? I thought I’ve seen people run this set up before? Last guy I talked to said he had 255 35s on the same wheel size and off set and was lowered with no rubbing? If anything I thought I’d have a problem on the side market tab? Help ‍♂

18x9.5 +40 NT03m with 245/40 Z2 Star Specs and Skunk2 springs. Already bent the tab in the front and tried tucking the liner behind it. Still rubbing a bit on bumps. Really hoping to stop the rubbing without actually rolling the fender. Also running -1.5 camber all around.
