I hit a small deer last week and put a hole in the black part of the front grille, the part the Honda emblem attaches to. Seibon has an 8-10 week wait on their CF version, and it’s quite expensive.

I can get an OEM grille for $117, but I’m not sure if it needs painted or not. I know it’s black on all CTRs, so I was wondering if it shipped black or not. Does anybody know?

Would you consider the ebay one? This one has more access for cooling.

It's finished in glossy black like what you see on new car.
I actually ended up ordering the grille from Honda. It's glossy black, so no paint needed, as hikaru said. I'll be installing it this weekend, hopefully.

I wasn't too keen on the eBay one. Just didn't appeal to me very much.

You will have the best fitment on the Honda, just be-careful when you pop those small little retaining tabs off your bumper. Don't damage the small bumps in the bumper that hold the retaining tabs in the grill. I'll cut the retaining tabs away so that the grill will pop off.
