Okay so my MM is on 5% for service B1. I really don't want to take my car back to the last place I got my service done at cause they screwed up, and I don't really have the tools or time to do the maintenance myself.

So I'm wondering, how much should service B2 cost at the dealership? I don't exactly wanna get ripped off at the same time, especially since it's just an oil + filter change w/ tire rotation and an inspection.

Please let me know, thanks!

Should be 45-60...maybe cheaper with a coupon on the dealers website. Check the dealers in your areas website for service specials

If it's full synthetic and tire rotation that's not bad.

for B1 service in NoVA area, it was $180 (Honda Chantilly), $200 (Fairfax Honda), and $160 (Tysons Honda)...
but if you look at the owner's manual it says oil change and tire rotation.
none of the 3 service departments could explain to me why it costs so much for an oil change & tire rotation & visual inspection

I'm further west of you (Winchester), mine's $57...IMO most dealers just nickel-and-dime you when you say you want a code done vs just an oil change & a tire rotation.

B1 in Canada can be done for $100 CDN. It's about $70 CDN at non-mainstream driver-thru lube shops if you bring in your own synthetic jug and filter. Rotation is just $20 or so.

Really, if you're shopping around a lot, I suggest getting a hydraulic jack, a used torque wrench, the socket needed to remove the lug nuts, and 2 jackstands. You should be able to rotate the tires at home in 20 minutes.

I got my B1 service done for $100 at El Monte Honda. They were the cheapest I could find within the 5 dealerships that I called up. They were pretty nice with everything, much better than their sales dept. who treated me like shit when I was car shopping earlier this year (so I didn't buy from them).

So the car tells you B1? Sorry, new to Honda. Maybe I should buy a code reader. So maybe asking for oil and tire rotation would be cheaper? I thought the car just popped up on screen what it needs. Sorry mine in new have not had first oil change yet. Thanks

The maintenance minder should tell you the maintenance codes. Hit the round button right above the voice control activation switch on the left side of the horn on the steering and the dash screen should show you some icons. Hit the button until the spanner icon comes to the center and hit the Enter button. When maintenance is due, you can read the code here. Also IIRC when maintenance is due, each time you start the car the code will be displayed for a little while.

also FYI...

The codes (letter & number) can be found in the owner's manual. It might be a pain to look it up, but it'll also be helpful.
