No offense but there's no need to sticky this because 99.9% of us already knew what the X meant. Hopefully nobody thought Civic X was a porn site.
Well since you went there, the CivicX icon in the recents menu on Chrome does closely resemble a certain video site at first glance....

10th generation/version of the Civic. X is the Roman numeral for 10.

I always thought the Euro 8th gens were odd looking (I may be biased as I owned a NA 8th gen coupe) but the Euro 9th gens are damn sexy.

I find the inconsistency of this image amusing.

For the 7th, 8th, 9th gens they use the Euro Type-R, which didn't share the chassis with any other civics of the generation and weren't widely available. The 8th gen is especially bad, because there was an actual JDM Type-R that shared the chassis with the mainstream model.

But for the 10th gen, they use a base model when there is a worldwide chassis Type-R?

Someone will probably correct me on exactly what X model they used based on the wheels and headlights or something. I couldn't be bothered to spend my time making sure it was anything other than an R.

Just a quick guess I would bet that’s the hatchback sport, looks like the wheels, also looks like the window trim is blacked out

is the civic x a car or just this website name? What exactly is 10th gen? What years does it cover? I have a 2017 coupe does that count? I’m new to this forum as I just bought the car 4 days ago lol
Can an admin sticky please?
I'm really hoping your trolling after that second post.

The civic x is the best generation. NO questions. This is not up for debate. Thank you.
Whoa now. The 6th and 7th generation Civics were really fun to mod and drive back then. This was back when the tuner scene was still at a high, so maybe the mods made the cars better, but still fun regardless. I love my 10th gen, but the 6 and 7 hold special places in my heart, especially the EP3.

The 6th gen is probably what comes to most GenX'ers minds when they think of Civic, sadly :D. The prototypical rude boy Civic with the R/Vtec/Mugen stickers and the wild wing and the coffee can exshaust :D

I just noticed those side mirrors in the 1st and 2nd generation. The placement of the mirrors is comical. I don't see how anyone could use them in that position lol.

and this was back in the day before most cars had remote mirror switches. A person had to possess freakishly long arms to own this machine..

It also means, pure happiness, if you own one. All the civics I've had have been great, reliable cars. I had a 2nd gen 83 hatchback 5spd. bought it in 88.
