Reverse, Brake, Turn Signals OH MY!

A guy in a Type R group did it for me, not sure what he did.

had the pleasure of meeting @TypeRLEDs the man, the myth, the legend in person last week for dinner while i was in houston for meetings. we spent hours chatting about life, work, and ctrs of course.

picked up a set of his X reverse, silly bright and safe rear signal, and brake light LEDS as a package. here are the amazing results from my perspective since i just installed them tonight.

note: i've had his first version of the reverse LEDs which is one step up from stock halogen bulbs, so the X ones is crazy good few steps up from that. signals and brakes went from stock halogen to his current LED versions accordingly. comparo pics are for each set before and after.

in pic of all 3 pairs and left to right are the X reverse, signals, and brakes.

Just wanted to weigh in here and put in my 2 cents. Bought the turn signals and brake lights and, after waiting a while (ugh USPS), had them installed early this week. The turn signals are BRIGHT. Still not sure if I'll get in trouble but people definitely see me. Thanks @TypeRLEDs !

There is no law known against brighter signals. You’re fine. I’ve done it on my Ducati and Triuml Thruxton R and saved my life several times.

Yeah that's what my research says too. Bright AF though, hurt my eyes when testing them out and looking at them.

@TypeRLEDs Do you have an entire set for the type r or do we have to order individually from your website?

The interior and reverse can be bought in a set. the rest will have to be added.

Yes! We ran into a small inconvenience with USPS.

Short story:
We dropped off a lot of orders at the postal service last week in their drop off shoot. And when we returned earlier today there were several stuck inside the shoot! Can you believe that?!

A quick conversation with the employee soon sorted this out.

Sorry for any inconveniences!

Also the Reverse LED X has been delayed another week. We are working very hard to getting all the back orders out as soon as we get them!

happened to me twice. around holidays there are lots of ebay sellers dropping off packages so the chute gets stuck or locks up after the container behind it fills up. it's actually very normal believe it or not especially if you go after usps closing hours...then it has to wait until morning for postal workers to come in a clear the chute and good to go. funny but true.
