I did, and apparently they screwed up my order... so they're getting shipped out today. So he claims. Canada... so god knows when I get them cause there's a big postage strike up here.
damn bro sorry to hear about the strike :(

they finally shipped mine today ( 2 weeks now). I wrote them a complaint email last night insisting i get an update on my order and they emailed me back with my tracking number.

I hear TRS is reputable and great but two weeks without word regarding an order thats over $1000 is unacceptable in my book.

They must have had a huge amount of orders to fill. I'm sure this is a difficult part of the year for the workers at TRS. Personally, I've never had a problem with them. Done business with them since 2011, and I've called them a few times over the years, have always had a pleasant experience. I placed my $600 Black Friday order to perform full retrofits for 2 vehicles at 6:20pm PST on Friday, Nov 23. Got a UPS tracking number on Tuesday, Nov 27th. Package arrived Monday, Dec 3rd. My order was correct upon arrival, packaged very well and organized neatly in a single large box. Humans tend to make mistakes tho, and it's possible that they prioritized your order after receiving your email.

When did you place your order? Btw, on the box that everything came in, there was a number: 1370 written with a sharpie. Maybe that means mine was the 1,370th order? I hear they've had "well over" 10k orders for black friday. I also ordered a 2nd item a little less than 5 hours later that I forgot to include in my original order, and the order number for that one was 887 higher than my previous order.

i admire your empathy. I placed my order on Friday the 23rd.

Im sure they may have run out of stock on headlights and had to re-order more to fulfill rest of orders OR they plain forgot about it but regardless, let me know! i dont bite. i just dont like to wait without word lol.

My advice to you is to take your time with the retro. Take the extra step to mount them in your car while the lenses are still separated from the housings. Aim them, level them. Make sure the hotspot is perfect by rotating the bulbs while lit - they rotate very slightly with the motoholders loosened (highly recommend the motoholders) as bulb position enhances the cutoff including blue area. Once aligned, I went for a test drive with the lenses still off since it was a dry night, little to no traffic. Make sure the step ups begin stepping up at the center line of the road. Then reinstall the lenses and place back in the oven. Purchase a digital oven thermometer that you can monitor with your oven closed... my oven fluctuated temperature by 90F at times! Reinstall your sealed headlight housings and double-check your alignment, making any necessary incremental adjustments. It may cost you an extra day without your car, but you'll thank yourself down the road.
Thanks for the tips - will do! They actually threw in LED lights and the Motoholders with the order, so can't beat that! Not my first time opening headlights or tail lights, but will be my first actual projector retrofit. Other than the fine tuning, it seems like a very easy and straight forward retro.

Some of the best retrofit advice I've seen posted on here. :goodpost:

The roll of the retrofit is one of the hardest things to get right.

Email them. I contacted support and magically 2 hours later it got shipped out.
Finally got my email after a few days. I just so happened to order an item that will be out of stock until mid-January due to a typhoon damaging the holiday shipment. So it’s either wait it out or get a refund.

USPS says my XB are now in CANADA boys, touched down in Vancouver and have cleared. Possibly here late tomorrow in the absolute best case, but as said above there is a postal strike so now that it's in Canadian hands only Christ knows. I'm still doing exams and a ton of shit so I'm not gonna give a timeline on anything cause I'll just fail ya. But GET HYPE

I bought them for sole purpose of quality/brightness testing with the ultimate plan to flip them and do a MH1 7 retro.
Wow, that's pretty awesome! How much do you expect the MH1 7 retro to outperform TRS' kit?

I'm trying to find a local shop near me that can retrofit HIDs, but somehow Houston, TX seems to be lacking (or I'm terrible at finding them). I don't feel comfortable enough to bake my own headlights and modify them, though I'd go that route if I can just find a place to do it. Otherwise, I might just have to settle and will therefore be very interested in scooping that TRS kit off of you when you're done if it's not already spoken for!

By a decent margin. Lots of foreground in the 7.0, but great width which is what I'm going for. Lots of variables and hard to predict the output with the triple projector thing going on with these XB.
