I had my wife's Black Fit treated with Liquid Glass by a detailer friend. I am using the Final Coat nano-sealer about once a month over it. Truly it is fantastic, water just sheets off, no water spots, takes 20 min max to go over the car. The appearance is stunning, the black looks absolutely liquid. To use The Final Coat, your car should be really clean, they reccomend claying before using it, but results are stunning for me. I plan to do the same with my new Touring, professionally applied Liquid Glass, followed by The Final Coat. I typically dry my car with a leaf blower, touch up with microfiber cloths.
There are several YouTube videos on The Final Coat, it works for me!

I have been a little afraid to purchase these. The reason being I heard that these sprays harden like ceramic coat, and like ceramic coat, if you do not have your car completely detailed, they will lock the swirls and scratches underneath the hardened spray coating.

Can anyone that's used this shed light on whether this fact is true or not?

I just applied two coats of TLC's The Last Coat to my car a few minutes ago. I like the look. I like it better than Gechniq's C2V3 so far. Only time will tell. C2V3 is easier to apply though, but TLC is pretty easy too.

I’m interested in the last coat, is just a spray wax? My CTR is ceramic coated, could I use it on top of the ceramic coat?

It is a nano liquid glass. It is similar to a ceramic, but is a bit softer. They say is is great for topping a ceramic coat. It makes the car look wetter than the C2V3 ceramic did, much deeper shine with two coats. The black trim really pops!

I tried the Hydro lite version which was pre diluted. Really easy application, I just wash the car down and then do a few sprays one panel at a time and pressure wash it off. I notice crazy beading qualities for at least two months after application. I used it on wheels but didn't seem to last as long though. I read and seen on youtube it may leave some spotting or residue on wheels that are hard to clean or take off though. Kinda pricey, but not bad. I heard good things about Meguairs Ceramic Wax spray though, similar concept and way cheaper and get more for your buck from it.

I use Lucas Oil Slick Mist. It's hands down the best spray wax I've used. It left my old car looking like a mirror. I had visited home before the accident in that car and my dad was asking how I got my car to look brand new again. That's the only stuff I use now.

None of these products are comparable to a coating or cause a hard shell like a few of you are referring to. They are simply silica spray sealants which are a totally different product, and most vary drastically in terms of durability. The problem is that most consumers really have little knowledge about these types of products and are drawn to anything that mentions Ceramic or Coating, when in reality its just a play on words to get more sales.
