Good luck you guys. 3 years stationed in WA and 4 years in NY. Now in GA... I don't miss those winters. I'll be running my OEM summers year 'round. The above picture reminds me of winters north of Albany, NY in the RSX.

I am curious, if the winter road treatments are anything like in Toronto, they may occasionally spray this anti-freeze like solution on the roads when it isn't being salted and that could absolutely destroy aluminum rims, no?

I don't know about in your area but in upstate NY they spray a brine solution on the roads. its just salt and water mixed together.
Usually you can see all the way down to Oslo from this view, but the fog was to thick.

I'm assuming it has the same effect as regular road salt? But I wonder... since its applied to the road differently, a solution vs. solid chunks, does that make it more (or less?) likely to end up causing corrosion?
