Is this only in the U.S.? My local Honda dealer has this "coupon"/guarantee/whatever that they'll match the price of 0w-20 full synthetic.

According to the fine print, any "participating dealer" in Ontario. I'd imagine most in Southern Ontario would accept it.

I wouldn't trust any dealerships "full synthetic" oil.

You can bring your own oil with you when you get your oil changed at a place. You are not obligated to purchase the oil they sell. If you want to bring a case of AMSOIL or Mobil 1 for them to use they will.

My buddy used Liqui molly. He won’t shut up about it. He found that’s more readily available than Amsoil. No idea the cost difference.

"full synthetic" doesn't mean anything anymore. It used to, but the court decided that pretty much anything can be called full synthetic. The Amsoil mentioned in this thread is , I read recently on their own website, made from group III base oil.

I’ll likely be trying Liqui-moly. It’s more readily available at our local supplier.

I'd like to see where you read that, because AMSOIL says their base stock is "proprietary". I'm not saying it's not a group 3, but it's hard to prove.

Either way, base stock doesn't really mean a whole lot when you're talking about oil performance.

*I should specify I'm referring to Signature Series from AMSOIL. Their OE stuff is probably 100% a group 3.
