Any trustworthy mechanics/speedshops in the Baltimore metro area?

I'm looking to get some suspension upgrades installed. In the past, I've DIY'ed this stuff but now suffer from a bad back. I kind of hate having other people work on my car but what ya gonna do?

Anyone know of any decent, reputable Baltimore area shops?

About 7 years ago I lived in Bmore and had a 6th gen civic. Right before I crashed it, I found a Honda specific shop out in the Anne Arundel area, it was called Hondaman's. Did really good work, Hondas only. Haven't been there since then, and it looks like now they're called Independent Auto Center, but it's the same place and they still get good reviews. Check em out.

Don't know any in Baltimore. Heard of a few shops near Ellicott City. @kdd_lanka might know some. If you come down to the Rockville area, I know a good place. I've had all my Hondas serviced by this shop for the past 15 years for stuff I couldn't do on my own.

...also, I randomly came across JE Performance. Know nothing about them, but seems like they have a robust site, youtube presence, and decent reviews:

Btw, found out Charm City Tuning is no go, apparently some of the Acura forums identified them as a bunch of thieving crackheads. Stealing their clients' money, lying about delays, and then skipping the state:

I have a friend that is master mechanic at nissan and has worked on all my cars for a fair price. I can ask him how much and if he install your upgrades. what are you doing exactly? springs? coilovers?

Right now my immediate need is to get the Si rear sway bar I bought installed. I know it's not a really hard job, I just am having a bunch of physical issues preventing me from being able to do it. I also have an Ultra Racing rear crossmember brace I was wanting to install after I test the Si bar out.

Side-question: What's that Rockville Honda spot you mentioned? I'm in the market. I do not have a jack I feel comfortable being under, and a new one just isn't in the budget, so I gotta farm out my second oil change.

Hoon's Auto. He works on all sorts of cars but he started off initially as a tech for Honda and Toyota.

Did you ever find out if he'd install my Si bar?

not sure if Aberdeen is way out of your travelling range, but North End Import Service is very good and trustworthy with Hondas/Subarus/VW.
