Where did you get this information? I am banging my head against the wall trying to decide on which Spec clutch to get. Do you think the Stage 3+ will last longer than 2+? 20k would kinda totally suck but I would probably be fine if it lasted 50k or so, as long as I can still drive it moderately hard and it last that long..... If longevity doesnt change between the stage 2+ and 3+ The only difference seems to be is if I am going to upgrade my turbo or not.... 2+ seems to hold the power that comes with a Tune, Flex Fuel, CAI, DP/FP
Spec sales department.
they said the average on the long end was 65k for the 2+ depending on driving style. They said the 3+ was the longest wearing clutch you could buy anywhere.

who can justify purchasing a clutch every 20k miles if your hard on it

I sure as hell expect it to last far longer than 20k. At the very least 50k, driven hard. They stated that extremely wide conservative range to account for absolute worst case scenario. Like people who can barely drive stick and burn their clutch every time they take off, or people running way too much torque and constantly launching and driving super aggressively. My point is, you shouldn't get too rustled about that 20k minimum. That's just something they have to say to protect themselves from the lowest common denominator.

Sure, as long as you get the rigid disc and your flywheel is in decent shape.

They have two versions, Rigid and Sprung. You have a dual mass flywheel, so you need the rigid version. (Not what you’ve linked to.)
can you provide a link to what i need?

Looks like a match. They seem to be hit or miss, hopefully you get a good one.
hit or miss?? only time i like hearing hit or miss is if its a NFG song.

thats sounds a bit too iffy for me. can you give me a link to a clutch that is more hit? i dont want to take chances getting a dud, as i didnt know the reputation of these clutches was that bad

Has anyone ran the Spec clutches that are capable of mating to the stock flywheel?
I'd love to get their steel SMF version but it's a bit out of the budget right now, so I'm looking at either an FX350 or Spec's other offerings for the time being.
