Yeah, the best way to handle things like this is to talk to your competitors. If everyone in the class wants to do the same thing, I can see that helping the conversation along. :)
Glad I asked. I expected the 1" rule to allow us to look at all years within the same generation of CTR's. Besides, the latest noise around the MY2019 CTR no longer includes a change in wheel size.

I'm in, moving from GS Civic Si to DS Type R, and thankful for the testing everybody on this thread has done. My 2019 should arrive in January. I plan on turning the volume knob to 11.

Of course the wheels we used on the Si don't fit, and after driving the Type R in anger I don't think I want to move the Karcepts bar, either. Otherwise I'll go straight down the middle: 265s on the Motegis (though why has no one tried Forgestars?) and a muffler delete.

Oddly enough I have some old wheels from one of the Camaros that should bolt right up for some cushy winter shoes.

The Si went to a local who's bought ... three of my cars! Good dude, and he'll let me revisit my ex from time to time.

Congrats! What color did you go with?

About the Forgestars. For me atleast my problem was that they tend to take a long time to make wheels. I know one our local guys who really like to use these guys typically has an order delayed by a 4-6 weeks due to Forgestar being behind. When I’m trying to pick these up from the border and timing it, delays won’t work for me

Gray. Every fourth or fifth car I like to shake things up :)

Actually looks like the Forgestars wind up no lighter than the Motegis (about 21).

I was wondering if anyone heard any rumors about any better tires coming out for the 20s (like RE71) or 19 wheels? I ran my contis in my local club last year and will probably be due for new tires this year. PS4S really the only other good 20 inch option?

Are the RE71Rs available in 20? Maybe different specs than the OEM. I look periodically on tire rack, but probably just search the OEM specs. I can handle road noise for a more competitive autox tire.

Yeah, me too! It's nice to have a rabbit to chase but he's always been much faster than I.

Dang you got the color I wanted haha. I’ll be very interested to see how you stack up vs Otis this year!
He's also got your wheels. :p

Des, you should try to do a car swap with Ryan at some point -- I'm very curious on both of your impressions on how the cars compare. I think the consensus opinion is that the Focus will be quicker, but I actually suspect the Civic will be, so I'd love to see you guys doing some testing.

Also, on my kids' behalf, I'm jealous of your front yard. :)
