There will definitely be a difference in weight, specifically with regard to the extra doors. To that point, adding rear doors would (in my opinion) shift the weight balance slightly toward the rear.Question: is there a difference in weight and weight distribution between the coupe and 5 door? Is weight shifted towards the rear at all with the hatch?
If I remember the current coupe is 62/38 weight distribution. Anyone know what the ideal weight split would be for a FR layout car? I know it's not 50/50...There will definitely be a difference in weight, specifically with regard to the extra doors. Yep definitely will shift more weight to the rear tires but being FWD the benefits are more about balance and handling than being able to put down more power. I think there are probably differences in a slightly stiffer chassis with the coupe versus the hatch. There will definitely be a difference in weight, specifically with regard to the extra doors. I've read before that 60/40 was about ideal, but not sure how scientific that was.If I remember the current coupe is 62/38 weight distribution. Anyone know what the ideal weight split would be for a FR layout car? I know it's not 50/50...
