No pics but installed my spare tire today. What I notice, my R didnt come with the "lug wrench" but the spare tire kit did, so strange. Car feels alittle different again with the added weight in the trunk. Going to take it back out once im done with my trip. The trunk raise is real folks.

Thanks! I didn’t know you had to order the tire separately.

Does anybody know where to get the foam that goes underneath the side panels on the new raised floor that you get with the spare tire kit? I've seen pictures where the back left and right corners have foam pockets under them so you can lift up each side and have a storage area underneath at the very edge.

I’m not talking about the foam blocks that simply raise up the floor. I’ve seen elsewhere that there is a kit that includes two actual foam trays beneath the floor underneath flip up “wings” on both sides (there is one flip up wing on the floor I got but it just has a foam block under it and flips up so you can access the tool and jack storage compartment on the side of the car).

I ordered a spare CTR kit today from my local dealer. They said the part number changed but it is the correct thing. It was $192 plus tax. They wanted $175 for the tire so I am looking elsewhere. This is a helpful thread. :)

Honda eParts has a temporary part number repeated 3 times ("Temporary Kit *Nh900l*").

Not sure the differences, kind of confusing. It does mention deep black as a color, maybe the wheel is black versus yellow now?

The Type R mat not fitting well against the back seats (slopes up), kind of sucks. For those using it still with a spare, does it really matter that much?

6 weeks after I bought my CTR, I finally have the spare installed. The kit cost me $197 with tax, they charged me $244 for the tire. After I got home I did a quick search online and found the same spare tire for $167, returned the $244 tire back to Honda (the parts guy didn't want to refund me but I had to insist). What a PITA to get this damn thing, all to hopefully never use it. In the 4 years, 60,000 miles I drove my 2015 Si, I never used the spare. Hopefully that's the same with this donut

I got my spare tire for $167 on tirerack.com. My local Honda dealer charged me $245 originally, but I took it back after I realized the tire and rim weren't delivered together.
