I would like to lower my 2017 2.0 LX Coupe and have been trying to determine which springs would be the best, and unfortunately haven't had too much luck finding much info on this topic.

The Eibach ones seem to only be designed for the 1.5 models, so I was thinking about going with the Skunk2 ones or perhaps the Megan ones, but haven't found enough reviews for any of them on specifically the 2.0 Coupes to make an informed enough decision.

Also, it sounds like I'll need a rear camber kit. Is the SPC one the only option available for the 2.0 Coupes?

If anyone has any insight regarding lowering springs on their 2.0 Coupe, please share your recommendations/experiences/reviews/etc.

Thanks in advance!

I have lowered my LX sedan(I believe it's the same springs) with Skunk2 springs and the drop is pretty nice, (1.35" in front and 1.275" in rear). I do have some clunking over bumps. I have yet to determine whether this is due to me not trimming the bump stops when I installed or if it's spring noise?? I had seen little rubber inserts that go between the spring to prevent noise but didn't think it was necessary...maybe I was wrong. Other than that they handle pretty nicely. Always room for improvement though possibly a strut bar or thicker sways :)

Hey thanks for the response! Since I asked, it appears Eibach released a Pro-Kit that is specifically designed for non-turbo coupes and has a 0.7" Front and 1.0" Rear drop. I think I may go for that one since it's currently on sale for 10% off at procivic.com and seems to be exactly what I'm looking for.

Though i'm still unsure if the SPC rear camber kit is necessary to stay within OEM specs though since it's only a 1" drop.

I have a 2019 civic coupe lx on d2 lowering springs. I also did whiteline front end links to help prevent body roll.

you need those rubber inserts to get rid of the clunking. they help center your spring in the perch.
