Well I’m referring to a lot of the downpipes on the market for our cars and staying stock without being tuned or having ktuner. Prl can throw codes Catless and may or may not catted. Rv6 catted is guaranteed not to throw codes catted so maybe we just have different opinions on that. From what I’ve read on here, people typically stay catted to avoid CEL.

I will eventually get ktuner as I’m not interested in hondata.

Throwing a CEL or not has nothing to do with catted or catless. Some DP has only 1 O2 sensors when stock has 2 O2 sensors so look for that.

If you plan to go Hondata, it has feature to turn off the CEL.

Regardless of DP or tune software, the “guaranteed” no CEL may have to do with the defouler that some come with. To be sure you won’t get a CEL no matter which DP you get, just get a simple $10-$15 defouler from Amazon and good to go. Some have defouler built in.

Again, if the DP comes with only 1 O2 sensors when stock requires 2 O2 sensors, you’re likely going to get a CEL.

Doesn’t GRP’s DP guarantee no CEL’s if installed properly? Thought it was in the description of their turbo back exhaust on their website

“If installed properly....” which isn’t always the case. 2 people I know didn’t do it properly and had a CEL. Fix was a $10 defouler.

That was my point...part maker of the DP and part proper installation. My GRP turbo back has had zero CEL from day one and no defouler needed. It was installed at GRP by GRP.

Also note every car is different and some more finicky than other.

I have to listen to it outside. In the garage it doesn’t sound louder, just a more pleasing tone. The harsh vraaang vraang of the original horn may be a more annoying (better) tone

Nice, did they mount to a stock location or did you have to rig up a bracket to mount to? Or remove old horn and put in new?

It's drop-in fit to the original bracket (single bracket that both horns are mounted to). Comes with a metal plate that you attach with a nut to get it to look like the original horn, then bolt in that plate to the bracket in the car.
