Nope never , don’t even fart
Hahahahaha! I just had this conversation with the man the other day. He bought his car in September and I was the first to fart in it, then I proceeded to tell him I was claiming my spot. Yesterday he tells me he is going to fart in my CTR when I get it and I said ok, claim your spot, but wait until after I put protectant on it and a seat cover lol.

We have one in our Tuscon, it's amazing! Super easy to clean and detach if we have passengers aside from the dog back there. Our dog has shorter fur but it's EVERYWHERE. I know I'll be getting one of these when I get my CTR that's for sure!
yea for sure!! i use this.. had it in my golf R carried over to my R.

however some liquid and get onto the other side...least thats what happenend when my dog was a liddle pup and she threw up.. so now under near it have another covering :) dbl up!

No food or beverages in the car so far. I try to keep that rule going as long as I can.

There is absolutely no eating in the R. Only water is allowed, or a sealed/watertight mug if transporting tea or coffee. Any take out food only goes in the hatch with the rubber mat and held down by the cargo net.

Depending on who and what it is. If you’re a messy eater bringing messy food. No eat it then sit. Drinks sure. I keep a microfibre in each door pocket. I work in sales so in the road a lot, sometimes you just don’t have time between meetings so you eat in the car.

I also vacuum every weekend. Scothguard every 3 months and keep a box of arm and hammer for that rotten eggs smell from the cat that is yet to disappear. I keep a vacuum in my trunk that plugs into the lighter outlet and if I need to do a midweek clean I can.

My last car was a 2012 Jetta that I sold in the summer with 375k kms. It looked fresh as the day I got it.

Of course I eat in my car. It’s just a Civic. I wash and vacuum at least once a week, and I have wipes handy though.

I never let people eat in my old '06 Corolla, so I definitely won't be letting it happen in my shiny new CTR. Lidded drinks with straws only!

In practice, I've very rarely had to enforce this rule. Most of my friends and family have similar feelings on eating in the car, I guess. Personally, the temptation isn't even there - I'd rather take a few extra minutes to enjoy my food than try to snarf it down in the car.
