I appreciate all your diligence and testing! I already figured I'd get a lithium batter car starter thing, and for my kids when the prices come down (black friday?), but just for those rare situations. It sucks that modern cars do draw so much power! I'll have to test out my accessory mode, for some reason I thought so many things are turned off except the radio, but not even climate controls work, and even then the car's battery is dead within the hour.

If you find something good for either an actual higher capacity battery replacement for a car, or that lithium battery starter, please do share! :)
I'm think you'll be happier with ANY Group 35 AGM battery from a local autoparts store.
As soon as pay day hits, I'm going straight to Autozone for their AGM platinum.

I've only had the car for maybe 8 months and really don't like the idea of replacing the battery already, especially still being under warranty, but group 35 agm - got it, thanks. Too bad warrant can't cover an outside purchase like this.

I got my battery replaced under warranty cause it died while in accessory mode for about 10 mins. I was trying to link up my new phone to the car and didn’t want to run the engine. Hubby had to jump start with his car. My car is 2 years old.

Maybe next time I'm at the dealership, I'll ask to replace the battery while under warranty, just in case and just to show documentation of issues ,in case that helps any future lemon law problems (which I doubt will happen anyway). That's if the darn dealership returns my calls, I'm so not happy with them right now.

Anyway, anyone able to test their Honda for that ACC clicking sound? Preferably a 2018 civic touring, but I'd happily take stats from others.

Also, anyone have issues/complaints with this model that I should look into while I'm under warranty?
