Dealer says on-sale date is November 4

Sema show is NOV 3 - NOV 6, 2015. So That means Honda should have more info about the civic hopefully the Si and have the regular civic go on sale on the 4th. If I don't hear anything about the car i'm waiting for (Si sedan) Los Angeles auto show would be my last hope until I look into getting a WRX 2016

Ha you are second person who said getting a wrx today noooo don't do it ha

So Rick Case Honda in Davie called and told me about the Modern Steel touring they got. He said its a training car, and no one can drive it but if I wanted to come in this weekend, sit in it and check out the features I could.

I started trolling/patrolling/lurking the Honda lots I encounter on my weekly routine. Nothing yet - just a lot of looks! I guess they see my 7 year old car coming and think 'here comes a sale!!!' Little do they know-

Don't it! even if we don't get info at the LA show which isn't even that far away, i'm sure we'll hear something before the end of the year.

no, and the wait is brutal when you have no car

Every time I've asked a dealership they've tried to sell me hardcore on the 2015. I'd be shocked though if they didn't go on sale within a week or 2 max. Do they really want to show these cars off when it's ugly and there's snow all over the ground? Should make test drives interesting at least.

Drove around the back lot of my dealer today. No 2016 Civic to be found. Have to say however that I have never seen their back lot look so empty! Lots of room for new deliveries.

Yea I bet. They know those 2015's might sit for a long while once the 2016 begin arriving.

Might be inside for dealer training or even on the showfloor. Seems like dealers only have 1 max so far and it's for training purposes so I doubt there's any extra ones to be sitting on back lots.

Oh man! My local dealer has their back lot LOADED with '16 accords. When I see them I definitely do a double or triple-take!

I just lurked the lot and back lot at Apple Honda. I don't think I saw any. The new accords make it tough to tell!

just got a text from my salesman that the training for the Civic tomorrow has been cancelled and he will let me know when it rescheduled.
I am a little bummed .... and he didn't know why it was cancelled

Damn hopefully this is not a nation wide trend, although it sounds like some dealerships already had their training? We may see Nov 4 come and go with only a fraction of the dealers ready to sell the 16's.

That would be a drag! Although, to me, it makes no difference. I just want to see them come on sale because it is the first milestone to hit on the road to TypeR.

As a note, there are 277 2016 Civics showing up on Cars.com now. I'm sure these are not actually on the lots but it is interesting they are being advertised already! If you live close by might be worth a call to see what they have to say.

87 LX, 127 of them are EX vs a whole 18 EX-T versions. I would assume the cars advertised are ones that know they have coming, so those numbers are interesting.
