2018 Si Coupe. When the window is only about a quarter of the way down, it seems loose and rattles/buzzes around in the door panel. Anyone else experience this?

My older Honda did that. On that window, there were two mounting points glued to the glass that the screws would then go through into the track to hold it. When 1 breaks, it begins to rattle...then the 2nd breaks and no more window. I'm back down to 1 tab again, so now I never close the door unless it's up to hopefully get it to last...it was such a pain to replace.

I'm not sure if mine rattles/buzzes when the window is partially down- but it definitely does when all the way up. Mostly on the passenger side but the drivers window does this also.

PS. there's a small chance what I hear vibrating is the passenger seatbelt buckle. It doesn't seem to be secured very well and it might be rocking against the pillar.

Sedan Si - my passenger-rear window rattles. Planning on doing a warranty claim with the first oil change.

Same here. I always gotta push the window button cause I think the window is down just a bit but it's not. I get the same noise from front windshield and my sunroof also makes noise. It's freaking annoying man. It's like they built the car and didnt check nothing. Just build and send them off.

I have a number of noises, buzzes, clunks etc with this car. I actually was expecting a little more from Honda. Granted this is one of their entry level cars but I still thought it would be built better.

I have a 2008 Tundra that earlier this year finally developed its first dash rattle. Besides that 1 rattle, it's perfect and has no other new noises or vibrations. I don't know if my Civic is going to come close to matching that. Maybe things will get better...

PS. I actually still really like the car.... I just hope it holds up over the years.

My '16 Civic LX had no rattles and everything seemed solid. Sad the EX-T has some. Guess to be expected that some cars will have issues.

My Si has all kinds of rattles with regards to the interior. It's kind of annoying. My drivers side window also squeals from time to time when I lower it but I keep holding off my dealer appointment because I hate being there.

I kinda think the more they take things apart, adjust, and put stuff back on... the more problems you're likely to have. I'd almost rather put up with small noises than take a chance making things worse.

For instance, what would they need to do to adjust the door/window rattling? They'd need to take the interior trim off, remove the inside part of the door, and then mess with the window and motor?

I don't know... is it even worth trying?

This is what I'm worried about. I probably won't get the rattles in the dash looked at because of the risk for other things going wrong, but I always roll my rear windows down about half way when the weather is nice, and the rattling of my rear passenger window drives me nuts.

I also plan on getting tint done in the Spring, and I'd rather have them look at it first so they don't end up blaming the tint installer for it.

In your case it might be worth it to have them try to fix the rattling. Unfortunately mine rattles when up or down. Oh ya i have a dash rattle too, it's not terrible (yet) but if the radio is off I sure can hear it. Sigh... brand new car!

Wonder if the new Accord has the same fit & finish issues these Civics have?
