heard from service manager that the f set is replacement of fuel rail and fittings as they are one use only due to high pressures of the fuel system.

canadian. eh.
Every time I think of Canada all I can think of is Tim Hortons. Every time I go to Toronto as an honorary souvenir on my successful entry into the northern territory, I buy a Tim's coffee and keep the cup. :D
I don't know what is so dam good about their coffee, but its sooo good. Can't find anything like it in good ol 'merica.

They didn't give you a copy of the tech pub? That would've been nice. And what was the purpose of running his finger through the carbon on the muffler tip? All Si's get that. I have to clean my almost every time I drive the car.
i barely ever have to clean my muffler tip, maybe 3 times since purchasing the car in late summer 17.....hope my SI doesnt have the same issues OPs did, but i did get the extended warranty for things like this. and havent TUNED the car for reasons like this.

I am just really anal about keeping it clean. It is pretty common for DI cars. As far as injector issues, tuning wouldn't have anything to do with it anyway.

ktuners tunes are so mild that the injector issues are not caused by it. i ran stock for awhile and it did the same thing.

I ran into injector problems at 6K miles on my 2018 Si. It caused all warning lights to turn on and a severe loss of power. At the dealership they asked me if I had been putting premium in which I had. I had been filling up at a murphy USA. Since then I changed to only putting gas in from BP or shell and havent had any problems. It makes me think that maybe all premium gasolines arent the same.

it's not about premium( which doesn't have anything to do with quality). It's about top tier gas (Shell, Amoco, etc.) instead of no-name generic like costco or murphy. All premium means is it has a retarder in it to prevent premature combustion.

all costco.
No lie, a family member had a 2004 Honda Accord V-6 EX, She only ran Sam’s Club fuel and had the exact same problem. I think it’s a safe bet to stay away from the wholesale club gasoline. Can’t just be a coincidence.
