The LFP is the more popular one though. But that is a BASE model GT. No options.

Did you consider a new Nissan Murano?
Sorry. This is a joke from another thread. I couldn't help myself.
BoostedSiCoupe knows what I'm talking about.
I actually had one back in 2004 lol. It was nice, but boring to drive especially with the CVT.

Lebanon Ford is right outside of Cincinatti, I was there 2 weeks ago looking at these Mustangs, they had three of them on the floor with Whipple Superchargers making 800 HP, they were all spoken for. You can also put in a Roush Supercharger making like 740 HP also for $39,995. For a few more bucks they can install Hellion twin turbos which can put down like 1K HP. The base car for these builds is right off their lot, you go pick out your color and whatever options you want. These are brand new cars, the cars and the chargers are warrantied and can be delivered anywhere in the country for additional shipping costs. I don't work for them and I don't get a kickback. Also if you order a dozen of them you can probably get them even cheaper.

Looks like a pretty decent deal for someone who wants a go fast (straight line), no frills car.

I love my 2018 Civic Si. I think it's a great car in all areas. My only guess would be those people can't afford it or get tired of driving a manual. Like most millennials they want everything easy so they probably end up getting an automatic.
Loved my 94 Coupe Si, sold it for a 15 Coupe Si and traded that one in for 4 doors and a ton of space, my current hatchback.

I'm at a very strange crossroads... I have a '17 Civic Si coupe that I think is the absolutely best bang-for-your-buck out there. My #1 gripe is the infotainment system... it's truly the worst thing about this car. It's not even the lack of a volume knob (which bugs me, but is admittedly an inconvenience and not a deal-breaker), but the overall layout, performance, etc. Understand that Honda needed to keep it at a certain price point but damn, I would have paid a little more for the car overall for a better infotainment system. And this is the first car that I can't do anything about it, which makes it worse.

Due to the fact I chose a coupe over a sedan (the sedan just didn't have the same driving dynamics), a year into ownership I'm now faced with the limitations of a coupe now that the shine of the new car has worn off. I'm strongly considering trading my Si coupe for a VW Golf R. No decisions have been made yet as the Golf R is significantly more expensive than the Si, but the Golf R is really calling my name.

100% agree. it does bother me not having the convenience of a vol knob, but even more bothersome is the fact that its so. fucking. laggy. it pisses me off on a regular basis.

I've been tempted to go test drive a 2018 Accord 2.0T .... at some point I need to fit 3 car seats across the back row
May was well save money in the long run and get something with 3 row seating... lolol

We have a 2017 Traverse and it fits 3 car seats across the middle row. Those car seats won't fit across the middle row in my 17 Civic though. There is a seat which claims to fit 3 across in the Accord....

How much difference is there in space between the 17 Civic Sedan and the 18 Accord Sedan?

That's your opinion and the handling thing is absolutely false. The 1LE, or Performance Pack Stang will out handle any Civic period. Also, I don't care about a $100/yr increase in insurance and the mileage isn't that bad, not that I really care. I'm not going to try to argue this with you, or change you mind. The thread is about trading in Si's and I will be doing that. Actually I'll be selling it private party for almost what I paid for it.
I actually test drove both a manual 17 GT and ecoboost. Thought they were extremely slow and little value.
