my comprehension skills are 100%. there are traits of cars that are objectively better than others. for example, weight, price, straight line acceleration, etc.. you know, like what i mentioned in my post.

and saying that your "already tired of it" regarding your si, is a pretty good indication that you probably dont "like" it.

the Si is great car for what it is, it is a great front wheel drive 4 cylinder vehicle, well made, great reputation for reliability, fun to drive, quick, handles great, quiet and smooth, great gas mileage, very good price and bang for buck, checks a ton of boxes, that's what makes Si's great cars and why I see them all over the place. I could have paid cash for a CTR but I don't think they're worth the price tag. I don't go to track days or drive around some cones in a parking lot. If I want to get serious about some street power and performance, where most of us spend 99% of our time driving, for $40K my money is on a brand new 800 HP supercharged Mustang LOL.

You obviously didn't read what I wrote. I never said I hated it. I'm bored of it and I want something nicer, and something with a V8 and more features. I will repeat myself again in the hope that it sinks in this time. If I didn't like it it wouldn't have bought it. I'm on my third Si, but now it's time for an upgrade. I don't answer to you, nor do I have to explain myself to you. You don't pay for my cars, I do.

Because I can.
Clearly Boosted is missing the point haha. The 1LE and the GT PP1/2 are considerably faster while also being more comfortable. They are both a MUCH better sports car than a Si... or even a Type-R and thats just the performance variants of the base cars, not even talking about ZL1's or GT350s. If I could afford a loaded mustang gt pp1 with the 401 package and the guages I would have gotten that in a heartbeat over the civic even with the MPGs cut in half.

Exactly. I think he is just looking to argue with someone. It's almost like I hurt his feelings by saying I wanted to get a better car. What does he care? Anyhow the Si is a great car for the price, but for me it's time for an upgrade.

thats cool, you have your opinion, and i have mine. this is a civic si forum, so just know that not everyone here is going to be a fan of junk american cars. so, expect some negative comments.

kind of like if i was on a mustang forum telling everyone that im selling my mustang and buying an si - im pretty sure most of the responses wouldnt be positive.

I mean that is a downgrade... if you said on a mustang forum you were trading your mustang gt for a Porsche 911 not many people could argue that as it is an upgrade.

Just because you don't like them doesn't mean they're junk, in fact the Coyote is on one the best engines on the market today. And the the 6.2L in the SS is extremely reliable. Do some research, this isn't the 70's and 80' anymore. These cars are not just straight line performers either. Also I never said the Si is a bad car. I like a car for what it can do not necessarily who makes it, Honda has its share of issues. Finally, my "opinions are based on facts, not fanboyism.

yeah, i mean i see what your saying. while the mustang he's buying maybe an upgrade in some ways, to many that could also be a downgrade in some aspects like reliability, for instance.

even if a person on a mustang forum posted that theyre getting rid of their stang and buying a ctr, they would still receive some degree of hate... eg. "lol youre selling your stang to buy a ricer! gtfo".

The civic is no more reliable, seriously. Also, I don't consider the Type-R a "ricer" just ugly which is one reason I didn't buy it.

true but thats not really an upgrade either the CTR and the S550 GT are neck in neck for track numbers and the GT destroys it on the strip. Thats more of a side step. Also reliability for Honda is WAYYYYY down for years... in fact Chevy as a brand is more reliable than Honda, and honda is only a few spots higher than ford.

That all said... I see more trades of Si's go to other Hondas be it a Type-R, Accord Sport or something Euro like a GTi/GolfR.
