I'm really liking what you're doing with car. The Black and Blue go so well together.Installed footwell lighting and cleaned it up so it can rain.
Correct, the hatch is smokedFor the hatchback only? They look black compared to the 18" Alloys you get with say the Si or the Touring which look more chrome.
That taillight plastidip is badass! 1) Is it a matte finish? 2) Did you remove the taillight assembly before spraying? 3) Can you still see the light with this on?Installed footwell lighting and cleaned it up so it can rain.
Actually redid them yesterday. Couple coats of Flat black with 4 or 5 coats of glossifier. Left them on and just taped around tail lights. Everything in back is LED so no issues with visibility even before I switched to LED. Don't have a pic of them with lights on, will get some tonightThat taillight plastidip is badass! 1) Is it a matte finish? 2) Did you remove the taillight assembly before spraying? 3) Can you still see the light with this on?
Cool thanks! I'm going to try this out when I get some time this weekend. My only concern is the light being visible, but if it's too dark I guess I can always just pull it off (the beauty of plastidip).Actually redid them yesterday. yes i would want cloth so it would match the rest of my car. plus I really hate leather my suburban was all leather and i hated itThe bigger question is why would you want cloth?
The reason people are switching to leather is that the cloth feels cheap and is easy to get dirty looking. Other cars I've owned have had cloth seats and leather armrests. It's a durability thing.yes i would want cloth so it would match the rest of my car. plus I really hate leather my suburban was all leather and i hated it
