Found this little thing today:
For so long I've been frustrated with the head unit, that when I'm using Android auto at night it is not going into night mode automatically, and I'll have to press the brightness button on the screen to switch to night mode, and do the same thing every time... Until lately I've (had the shop) put the illumination kit in, to test if the new lights matches and dim with the rest of the interior, I used the dim knob for the first time, I thought it's just a simple knob, but then realized if I am not turning it to the brightest level, like just one below that, it's actually an auto dimming mode that follows the headlights :0

In short, putting the dimming level to 2nd highest, all the dimmable functions (including Android auto night mode) would work with the headlights, so side markers on only, day mode, headlights on, night mode

Love these moments when I discovers those little things :)

Installed footwell lighting and cleaned it up so it can rain.

I'm really liking what you're doing with car. The Black and Blue go so well together.
My sport hatch is White. I'm going for the blue theme on the inside of my car.

That taillight plastidip is badass! 1) Is it a matte finish? 2) Did you remove the taillight assembly before spraying? 3) Can you still see the light with this on?

Actually redid them yesterday. Couple coats of Flat black with 4 or 5 coats of glossifier. Left them on and just taped around tail lights. Everything in back is LED so no issues with visibility even before I switched to LED. Don't have a pic of them with lights on, will get some tonight

Cool thanks! I'm going to try this out when I get some time this weekend. My only concern is the light being visible, but if it's too dark I guess I can always just pull it off (the beauty of plastidip).

I would love to hear a growl, not a ricer mailman sound. Post a clip of the beautiful exhaust note!

The reason people are switching to leather is that the cloth feels cheap and is easy to get dirty looking. Other cars I've owned have had cloth seats and leather armrests. It's a durability thing.

Put my gloss black grille overlay back on. Sporty change from the chrome. The nice thing with the overlay is I don't need to remove the bumper if I want to switch back to chrome. :)
