ugh, they can randomly reference youtube video links, but aren't giving source to important information like that? Really sound like they're just trying to troll their readers. Anyways, November 3rd is in a few days. Guess it doesn't really hurt to find out shortly.

Yeah probably B.S but heck I saw it figured I would share. Plus I dont give much credit to "professional writers" who just all jump on the volume knob talk shit about its styling bandwagon. It's a broken record . These are the same me too people who "hate" the star wars prequels using jar jar as an excuse when he is 1 percent of the movies... just like the volume knob.

for sure. didn't mean to downplay your findings. just not sure if $1000 is worth a new volume knob and the additional markup that will come with the 2019s lol

also makes me wonder if this is just the latest MSRP increase, and not necessarily a "2019 markup". I think there were 3 markups (or maybe 2) from the original price, DURING the model year. I remember there was an increase on May 8 of 2018 and mine was build on May 20! so I am thinking Honda Manufacturing does not want dealers to keep getting all the ADM markup, they want to wet their beaks too, so I think this won't be the last MSRP increase in the coming year.....

Judging from the price increases across the board ($500 increase on all hatchback trims), I think it's much more likely that these price increases are being driven by cost - increased material cost and uncertainty regarding trade.

Well there have now been 2 MSRP hikes. Now MSRP is higher then some paid for ADM. So two things.. us first buyers got a deal. And now new higher MSRP plus dealers ADM is gonna push this to a 40k car. But hey volume knob right.

I remember the May 8 2018 mark up was the second one they had done. Not sure if the first one was during the 2017 or 2018 model years...
