So a friend of mine in Vietnam bought this and installed on his sedan. He told me that he got them from China for $600 (with 2 sensors on the back bumper.) I'm digging them but the price is just too high for my budget. Anyone knows other suppliers for these?

I would be surprised if the next gen civic doesn’t have this feature

I agree with you. And I’d rather save that money for the future.

Honda Sense come with it. Also, Google how to adjust your mirror. A good adjusted mirror will cover all blind spots.

Adjust your mirrors so you don't see any of the side of your car, this will help or almost eliminate blind spots on some vehicles.
Something about being aware of your surroundings is just too much for enough people to want a blinky light. I'm all for turning my head to check blind spots and putting in the effort to keep tabs on vehicles around me. No need for blinky lights. I disabled the blindspot (bs) camera as it took my eyes away from vehicle line of site and was a serious.. serious distraction while driving.

Some safety features have their place and their merits. I stress the word 'some' so that it will convey the meaning of few or not all.

I don't think that's the point. I always turn my shoulder, even when backing up. I never rely solely on the cameras. But it is nice having the features. Not once has it been distracting, at least to me. I still wish this generation had BMS.

I did have my mirrors adjust to see blind spot. I even bought those tiny convex mirrors to aid. However, it doesn't hurt to be extra safe while having BSM as an additional safety feature. I've lived in different countries and have learnt to utilize all the safety tech my cars have while driving. However, it's understandable for others that don't want to rely on the tech. Different strokes for different folks. The purposes of this post are to see if there was anyone with this feature on his/her Civic 10th gen and where to get it since I want to have it on my car.

I would definitely be interested in this at some point. Living in San Francisco where everything is cramped and tight, the extra assurance would be nice to have.

Or just have someone sit in the back seat as a spotter. They yell out when a car is beside. Cheaper

Honda is moving away from lanewatch. All Hondas will have BSM instead by the next full model change.

Honestly I hated the lanewatch at first, but it has a lot of extra uses such as parallel parking, watching your sides in tight roads, etc.
