any recommendations on a knob that doesn't get hot as hell in the summer and as cold as my ex-gf in the winter?

Got the Boomba knob exactly for that reason and love it. Totally temperature neutral.

I just got the Spoon duracon shifter for $50 and it doesn't get extremely cold or hot.

Still, as seen, a work in progress. I made a bowl out of walnut and a guy asked if I could make him a shift knob for his Accord. I'm pretty close to done with this and I absolutely love it. I'll end up making another for my Si, even though it'll look out of place it feels way nicer and has some character. I hadn't previously thought of turning a shift knob but I'm so pleased that I have!
