I got hit pretty hard, but I was surprised to see very little damage. This was partly due to the fact that my wheels were turned to the right thankfully, exposing my tire to the other vehicle which absorbed much of the impact as I was making a right turn in an intersection which also saved me some rim damage.

Glad you’re ok man, that’s all that counts. Let insurance handle the rest. Meanwhile, you’ve got a rental to put miles on instead of your sweet Civic!

Yeah, the woman was very "off" and she started yelling at me to not call the cops and turns out no license plus narcotics. Off she went...
:dunno:
No insurance for a while until they get to her.
But when I get the loaner I'll probably floor it at every intersection

I would get her VIN as well as the license plate in case she used a fake plate.

Very minor body damage, thankfully.
I’d be concerned about suspension damage considering you say the oxygen thief, er... other driver hit your car while you had the wheels turned to the right.
Alignment may be pooched, but I’d be all about getting suspension components and steering parts checked as well to make sure there’s nothing bent.

Yes, and hopefully the thieves down at the insurance company don't fool around.
Alignment is definitely hit, but hopefully suspension is OK.
The door does not close like it used to, so that will likely need to be replaced.
