Where did you buy those small rings? If you didn't buy them online, what was the dimensions for the rings? Trying to figure something out for my Type R keys.Yes, I agree about the hole in the key being too small to allow a normal size ring to be used. A normal size ring will bind in the hole and not allow free movement. My solution? I bought really small rings and put them on my car keys of this type, then threaded them onto a larger ring.

Sorry for the delayed response. Didn't realize I wasn't logged in. I bought the small rings at my local Ace Hardware. I just measured one quick and they are about 5/8" or 16mm diameter.
Anybody else have one of these? Sadly its not the color of my car
