1-15-2019 Update ** NOW AVAILABLE **

Eibach Sportline for the FK8 Now Available

**10/13/18 UPDATE**

8pm Update

❇ 0.9” front & 0.9” rear drop from factory

Info from Mark Krumme of Eibach 6am:

❇ The rates are a true rear biased setup at 325lbin front and 350lbin rear. Combined with our bars and an aggressive alignment, this kit is designed to help get the car pointed in the right direction at the limit.

❇ It’s a cost effective alternative to coilovers. You get that aggressive height plus a track-focused rate package for a fraction of the cost, plus allow full function of your Active Damping System.

❇ Today’s Eibach R&D appointment was Awesome! Their customer service is Topnotch! Thank you, Mark, Wanda, Kevin, George & the whole team!

❇ Eibach Sport Line Springs & Type R-specific Rear Camber Arm Install

❇ While they were working on my car, they gave me a tour of their facility, warehouse & factory... and it just opens up your eyes & mind to a different perspective about Eibach.
To summarize, that Tour builds TRUST towards the brand!

❇ After a 4-hr spring & another 4-hr rear camber arm install.. i saw them drive the car out of the garage... and WOW! First thing i saw was the Drop! It is Very noticeable and i’ve had their Pro Kit for 7 months.

❇ So i dunno how long your daily commute is.. but a 2-hr Corona to Santa Clarita, rush hour stop & go traffic drive is what i did going home, +R mode all the way.
I am not exaggerating... its smoother than my Pro Kit .. definitely more responsive, stiffer but on really ugly bumps.. you “bump”.

❇ I will update the review after spending more time with the setup & my Track day next month. Meantime, enjoy the images and zoom in if you’d like.

❇ A few key points during my conversation with Mark Krumme of Eibach:

1. The Camber arms are adjustable.. they put a slightly (negative) in-camber on mine for track and close to zero toe as possible, but if you prefer, they can do camber almost same as stock too.

2. This is the final prototype. 2-3 other versions were put on different CTRs, but this is gonna be the production version.. and they will release spring rates by that time.

3. The Rear Camber Arm install will be a PITA. One of the pics i have shows my Remus Exhaust needed to be removed. Either sub-frame OR Gas tank needs to be lowered to properly install the arms.

4. Its not the arm, its the way the X-Gen Civics are made. Dont matter if you have SPC or any other brand rear camber arm, you’d have to do the same process for install.

5. Sport Line Springs will be on shelves December & Eibach might do a preorder Mid-November, while the CTR-specific Rear Camber Arms are already available for pre-order if you call them.

Thank you @jonnys_honda for letting me have this opportunity to work with an Amazing Team at Eibach.

Anyone have install instructions for the camber arms? Or factory manual specs for all those rear subframe components?

I didn't drop the gas tank nor the rear subframe when I installed mine. Just unbolt 2 bolts and took about 1 hr. The space is super limited down there but my friend did have a variety of tools though.

Curious to see how the spring rates and the drop compare to swifts. Still debating on if i want to go a full coilover set up or just get another set of springs for slightly more drop than my current pro kits.

I apologize if I'm asking this on the wrong thread, but does dropping mess with your scrub radius?

Ding ding ding..! One aspect coils offer should notice. All cars on CTR segment have some damping system - I' not remove it just yet, why coils companies don't offer an option yet to work with it? Unless you live on a track every single day, it is hard to justify remove the ADS.

- How was your camber before the arms were out in?
- Mind posting your alignment specs?
- also I thought the type-r had neg camber from the factory, at -1 with a healthy +/- range.

I have a set of SPC and am dreading the 4h+ install...

What's the difference between the Sportline and the Pro Kit? The Sportline drop is lower than the Pro Kit? I'm guessing spring rates as well.
